I think I have a problem with my video card in my sig with getting too hot. I have been playing Battlefield 2142 quite a bit here lately and usually the temperature is around 52 degrees celsius right after I quit Battlefield. Now whenever I play it will usually freeze and I have to press crtl+alt+del to get out of it and the temperature will be 60 degrees or a little above. Whenever it is idle, normally it is around 30 to 32 degrees but right now, I just turned the computer on, it is 36 degrees and climbing slowly. Before I turned it on, I blew all the dust out of it but that did not seem to help.
Is Battlefield freezing because the card is getting to hot? The core slowdown threshold is 125 degrees. If so is there anything I can do? I use Everest ultimate to monitor the temperatures. How hot is considered high? The computer I'm using is in my sig.
