card not detected

ok i got this small nvidia phantom agp graphics card and my computer will not detect it im running a dual monitor setup other card was 2MB this 32MB so the software will not let me install it or is that the only video i can have on the computer? the main monitor is onboard my mobo chaintech9LIF

and i do not know what phantom is about
i bought this off of ebay and i left feedback and i recall that it is a
3D AGPhantom GEforce
 
how on earth do you do that I've looked at my bios and cant find anything
i dont think i'm looking hard enough but i'll try!!!

o one thing like msg above , make sure your AGP IS BEING LOOKED AT WHEN System starts up. turn it on. It will be in the bios.

You will need to join its free . i download drviers here all the time . when you do download them it will be on the right side , it will say download driver or something like that.

That dude hasn't even gotten out of the BIOS stage yet, I doubt that he would be worrying about drivers.

You can always try the card in a system that you know is working, to eliminate or confirm the graphics card being faulty or not.
 
i have nothing like that in my bios. my bios is award pheonix and i think i can change it, if i cant i'll show you my bios with agp apeture size on that page but my bios is nothing like that. and it came with drivers but like i said it will not let me install them unless the card is detected cause i tried them on a computer where the only video the agp slot and it showed the install drivers button when the cd is inserted but on the computer that is not detecting the card it wont show that button
i hope this helps but if none of this works i can upgrade my windows 98 so i know it will work
i only bought it for 5.95----5.00 S/H
