Card-PSU Compatability

Rosewill PSU's are not known for quality, I would not trust that power supply, this is a better choice IMO...

I would go one up on that...

I would go corsair.

for $100 you can get a
Corsair TX650

its 650W, and has a single rail. and has great QC and warranty.

If you planning to go SLI for the future, or even just for headroom, pay $115 and get a Corsair TX750

750W of power. It will be better as it will run cooler (not at full capacity the whole time, therefore quieter and better efficiency

The reason Why i think Singe rail is better is cause there is no 'wasted power'.

What I mean by that is, if you look at most PSUs, the 12v1 is for the CPU only.

Thats 19A for a part that needs 10 most?

Thats 9 amps wasted

Rather spend more on a good, clean PSU. Remember a bad PSU can cause a lot of problems and can even fry some parts. Rather spend more for a PSU.

people dont realise their importance...

PS. I know it might seem hypocritical coming from the guy with a Huntkey (WTF) PSU.

I am working on getting a Corsair TX750

I appreciate all of the interesting and helpful replies, I've already purchased that PSU, and am simply upgrading my VGA (from 8800gt to the GTX260 line). I am reasonably sure that I read correctly on the product specifications on both items, that the card needs 2x6 pin connectors, and that the PSU only has 1x6 pin connector. I would like someone who knows more than myself to double check to make sure I read properly.

Ahh, I just checked, I was thinking of my 4+4 pin connector. I do have that open, 6+2 pin, so I'm all good then. Thanks so much guys! You're awesome!
