Card readers

I have an Acer Aspire 3470G desktop and all 5 card readers show in operable....It happened once before and i re-installed Win7 to fix it....Appently Norton 360 vs 6.0 causes this because..I Reinstalled 360 both times before this happened...there is no Acer drivers for this on their website...I don't use the readers now but would like them to work
I'm lost
