Card with slow boot

I just got a PNY card which has drivers that noticeably slowed down PC booting, so I'll be changing the card again.


Is there a brand that doesn't lengthen boot time?
Noticed any longer boot time after installing yours?
 
this is normal windows as you accumulate programs or drivers. they have to be loaded to the system ram/swapfile this one may have pushed windows over the edge.

perfectly normal i have an extremely fast system but it takes a long time to boot.

this is normal though.
 
It does appear that the slow booting went away.
I may have been looking at the setup files slowing down a few times.
Now it is back to normal.

Sorry about that PNY, your card is great!
(I'm planning on bying another PNY card, since I like the quality of their first one so much.)
 
hard drive normally slows boot time, if you'd like it to be faster then upgrade the hard drive. if you've got a 7200rpm sata like i do, it should be pretty quick anyways.
im satisfied but it could be better thats why i made sure my motherboard supports RAID 0 when i bought it.
 
you should be able to get normal drivers from nvidia or ati website. some of the brans come with oens with extra stuff. the nvidia or ati website is JSUT the dirviers with no extras.
