Hi All

Ive decided that I need some case fans etc as my case gets pretty hot lol.

Tell me what are the best brands for case fans and there set up?

Thanks

what case do you have?

What size are the fans?

Good makes are coolermaster, noctua.

I got 2 coolermaster LED fans in my case and they move alot of air, aand they quiet.

The noctua is the quietest fan, but a little expensive.

But those are 120mm fans. 80mm fans are not worth it IMO, cause they are so small, tehy rev up to move air, and they whizz....

Irock IR11A.

Ill have to measure the fan vents when I get home but from memory it looks like space for two 120mm fans on the side, Im keen for a exhust fan on the back also. Whats the best setup positioning for fans?

It was cheap as chips lol hence why I got it, came with a 450psu too which I dumped for my current one.

Ok this is what Im looking at:

Evercool FOX-3 System Blower $27.00

Evercool Rocket V System/VGA Cooler $32.00

And either

Silverstone FN121 12cm Silent PC Case fan $19.50
or
Antec TriCool 120mm Blue LED Case Fan /3-Speed Switch $25.50

Which case fan is better? lol Ill get at least two and maybe a smaller say 60mm fan to put on the back of my case for exhust.

Any ideas.

Or instead of the Evercool Rocket V System/VGA Cooler should I get this:
Aerocool%20PC%20Aircon%20System%20Cooler.jpg

Aerocool PC Aircon System Cooler $45 as it can change direction etc.

Noctua and Scythe makes just about the best case fans, I don't think there's any products on the market that surpasses Noctua's NF-S12 for silence.

sanyo denki san ace fans(h1011), get a fan controller, these fans are awesome(109cfm at 39db) somewhere around 70cfm on 7volts, and the noise is bearable. be prepared to spend a bit(25 dollars is pretty much the norm) otherwise look at noctua fans

compared to everything else, yes, this guy ships worldwide: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/noctuafans.html no idea what it comes out to, but i would try to buy those instead, they're one of the most quite fans out there(that still push a decent amount of air) if you aren't putting these fans on a radiator, you might want to check into a scythe slipstream, they push a decent amount of air when they aren't attached to a heatsink

So what ones of that website should I get?

Also how do you measure your fan vents on side of case, is it screw hole to diagonal across to another screw hole?

It's diagonal. There's only a few standard sizes though, mainly 80mm, 92mm (sometimes referred to as 90mm) and 120mm for case fans.

OK in the side of my case I have two vents, the top one has two sets of screw holes, the inner set measures diagonaly at 100mm, the outter set is 150mm.

The lower vent is 150mm??
