Case/motherboard issue.

Okay, so my friend gave me a high end Koolance case, with no motherboard mounting screws, just the metal mounting things that screw into the case which the motherboard is screwed onto. Well, I couldn't find any screws that fit into those mounts, but I did discover that the screws fit into the holes that the mounts were screwed into. Is there anything I could put in between the motherboard and the case to just screw the screws into the holes that the mounts screw into?
Hope that made since.

No. Well maybe. The way its meant to work is the motherboard sits on top of those stand offs (the screws in the case that can have screws screwed into the top of them). And then you screw the mother board to them...

go to a computer store and ask for 9-10 screws or whatever you need..

Might be $2.00 max

I live in the middle of nowhere, so ghetto rigging is necessary.

I was thinking I could get some metal things with wholes through them and have the mobo sit on top of them and screw them and the mobo into the case.

I'm not gonna lie....thats a terrible plan!!

Get some screws man, surely u can get to a hardware shop!?

Newegg and FrozenCPU both sell little boxes containing spare screws/standoffs/etc. If you try screwing your motherboard directly into the case (no standoff) all your stuff will blow up.
