Case Pics After Upgrade

Upgraded today, so took a few before and after pics.

BEFORE (Athlon 3200+ (32bit) 1Gig PC3200, 6800GS 128MB, 1x 40Gig IDE, 1x 80Gig IDE)



AFTER (Athlon 64 X2 4600+, 2Gig Dual 800MHz Team Elite, 7900GS 256MB (500MHz core), 160Gig SATAII)



Not sure on the positioning of the cathode, it's a bit blinding but if I put it at the top of the case it's quite pale. I'll see what it's like tonight.

The Scythe meter on the front has lots of colours to choose from, I thought the pink looked nice ;)
In case you are wondering, the temperature displayed is actually the case temperature. I have readings for CPU, HDD, GFX & Case.

It has taken me about 7 hours to pull all the old stuff out, clean everything, put everything new in and try to do some cable management.



 
If you're after one then you'll have to check ebay as they come up now and again. They were £120+ brand new but I imagine you'd get one for a lot less now!

How does Linux run on Dual core systems?

you using the 64Bit ubuntu?
 
Not had chance to try it really, still installing stuff I need lol

I'm running 32Bit Ubuntu, there is still too much of a lack of 64Bit software / support at the moment.

I was going to install DreamLinux but the installer wouldn't work!
 
The pics are really poor, I think it's my camera batteries, they're nearly dead and I haven't got any more.

I half wish I didn't have a window, you feel that have to go to the effort of trying to make it look neat lol As you can see from the before picture, I couldn't be bothered before!
