Case Thermometer

I just bought the XClio Windtunnel case (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811103011) and it has a cpu thermometer, but I am not sure where or how to attach it to the cpu. Can anyone help?

Well I am curious have a picture of the actual item in question? Most CPU ones I have seen lay on the sides of the chip under the CPU cooler. This would require you to take the cooler off to put it on though.

Yeah, I figure it would be like that, but I'm still a little weary over those. Since basically any computer today has it's own built-in temperature monitoring, I'd stick it somewhere that's either not monitored or somewhere to get a general reading, perhaps on top of the heat sink...
