Case Usb 3.0

thats what im saying...im new to all this and is my first build but everything is up and running good:0 It would be great to have those usb's in the front though
 
I have that motherboard, the USB 3.0 plug goes just above the SATA ports just off the corner of the furthest right RAM bay, by the 24-pin power connector. It should be a blue plug. I have my USB 3.0 bracket plugged in there and it works fine.

Note I have the PRO version of that board, may be different for your's, take a look in the motherboard manual.

EDIT on your board there is a black 20 pin connector directly underneath your 24-pin power connector. That is where your USB 3.0 plugs in.

See if the case hase x2 9 pin connectors for the 9 pin headers (blue) on the mb. Those 2 connectors might actually be 4 connectors(2 for each header). Check your mb manual to see which(if it matters)headers are 3.0.
Post a pic of the cable end(s).
 
That's odd - I can see where the connector *should* be but it's not there? I can see the solder marks and everything! Maybe the LX does not support it or maybe the connector is located elsewhere? Not sure... have you looked in your manual?
 
yes I have and says nothing about it..Do they make adapters for something like this? pretty shitty the usb's arent usable in the front due to the mobo
