Case vs. Case

I was pretty set on getting a completely clear case for the rig posted below (I really need a new case, a 30 dollar Powmax jsut doesn't do it :P ). I have come across another one that I think is just sick looking though. Here are the two, keep in mind that although I can afford it, the Aspire is about $40 more and price is always a consideration.

I love the meters that a built into the case and like the fact that it has a 120mm fan (I think... well at least it looks like there is a 120 in the back next to the motherboard backplate) I would have to decide between Green, Black and Silver. My room is a lime color, almost like this and if I get the green I would want to make sure its not completely off and looks horrible.

The other case is just acrylic and has 3 80 mm fans in it already.

Any ideas or known facts about either case would be nice.
 
The aspire one is by far a better case than the acryllic one. Even with the extra $40, its well justified. Definitely the first one.
 
It looks as if the Aspire's rear fan is switchable between 80 and 120mm fans. Is this so? Also, what color would you personally choose for a bright green room? I'm thinking not the green, it doesn't look to be the right color.
 
You should know by know i dont give didly squat how pretty case is and usually comment only on the technical points: the Aspire one has basic PSU 12V@18A and the acrylic one doesnt even have a PSU. In either case you'll want/need a PSU anyways so you might as well go for the cheaper one :)
 
Just because your not into all the bling bling of a case doesnt meant he isnt going to be. If you want a style icon then pay the extra, however, i would never EVER buy a clear acryllic one, its just something that shows up dust and dirt EXTREMELY easily. Also, you have to make sure all your cables are REALLY tidy because if there not then it looks a complete mess. Yes the aspire can change the size of the fan, using that cone shaped thingy or at the back the fan slot has got 2 different fittings.

i must admit the case with the dials on it looks pretty sweet; i would get it if i wanted a new one.

im still in love with my cooler master stacker tho... probably a bit out of your price range tho :D

And nowhere did i say anything about it ... i was just commenting on the functionality
 
I have a 12V@30A PSU, which does jsut fine, and I will not buy the stock PSU with the case. Just an opinion question about the color really. The lime color was a little extreme, my room is actually quite nice of a color. I would say it would be gross if it was that color now that I ook at it more closely:). Also it looks as if the cooling capabilities are much nicer on the Aspire.
 
i was considering getting that aspire case too, i think it looks really cool. Also it will keep you from buying a temperature display/fan controller.
