CCC wont override settings

i cant get catalyst to apply AAA or AA or even AF

i can only enable them in game, i cant force them?

i got ccc 7.9

dont get it
 
I'm no expert regarding ATI cards, their drivers or the catalyst control center.. But have you tried the latest Omega drivers? Might help.
 
What are The Omega drivers?
The purpose of the Omega Drivers is to provide gamers with an alternate set of drivers, ones that have more options and features than the original sets. The drivers contain optimizations, extra features (like OC capabilities), more resolutions and internal tweaks that can give users the edge in a gaming environment over the normal drivers, which are often tailored for synthetic benchmarks. All Omega driver sets are tested (unless noted) by myself in my own PC or in an alternate PC (in the case of the NVIDIA drivers) to ensure maximum compatibility and reliability.

Why should I use these over the official sets?
There is no need to use them, unless you are a person that is not satisfied with the word "default".

Will these drivers work with my Radeon XX from XX Company?
Yes, the drivers are compatible with ANY card that has the name Radeon on it.

If you update your driver you must update the Catalyst software, so try downloading the newest full feature driver and catalyst package.
 
i did that. i have the 7.9 software suite.

counter strike source wont use the catalyst settings. i cant enable temporal AA or Adaptive AA

i need some help :mad:
 
An option is to uninstall CCC and get ati traytools instead (google it). I had a much easier time with traytools and you can even make game profiles. I used it to force 6x AA when playing oblivion so I know it works.
