CD Drive not in boot order list

Hi, i'm trying to dual boot a new OS on my computer but when I enter the boot menu so that it boots from the disc the drive does not come up on the list. Any ideas why?

CD-ROM drives usually show in BIOS using their factory names such as:

TSS corp CD/DVD device

And similar...

In some other BIOS editions it will simply say CD-ROM or something similar...It really depends on the BIOS.

Are you sure that there isn't absolutely ANYTHING what would point to the CD-ROM drive?

Also is your CD-ROM device working properly in Windows and is it connected properly to the motherboard (power cable and data cable)?
