ceewi1 VIP Member Jan 18, 2006 #3 Usually you're fine, but if the label is misapplied and the CD is biased in one direction the vibrations can, in rare instances, damage the disc or player. Also, the extra thickness of the label seems to cause a problem in some laptop CD drives.
