so if anyone has any suggestions plz help

thanks in advanced

ps. could i some how make the boot disk run before windows so it acts as a driver

it dosent show up in device manager it dosent even show that there is a slave drive

but thanks anyway for your help

but still need help plz

Check your master/slave settings on the drive itself. If your HDD is Master, then CDROM should be slave on the same cable, or master on the other IDE channel.

yeh done all that the drive works in dos not in windows in dos i use the 98 boot disk drivers but when it comes to windows it dosent reconize nothing is there anyway i can make it load the drivers from the boot disk

anyway thank for ur help
