Cd-rom recognition

[sharpshooter677]

Hey guys,

I enter a disc in my cd-rom, and there is no recognition of the disc even when I search for it manually. Is that a hardware issue potentially? Thanks

Have you tried more than one disk? Have you made sure your cables are fully connected? How old is your CD ROM?
