CD to CD burning

Is there a way to burn directly from one CD drive, to another cd drive? Instead of ripping to the hardrive, and then burning to CD? I have nero.

Also is there anyway to recover files from a scratched disk? Right now im trying to burn it at a 8x speed, since i kow going slower can sometimes help it, and during install you cant tell it to go slower :P Basicly im trying to install Battleezone 2 on my PC again, and I dont want to buy it again, I already rebought the game 3 times :P I have extra CD' keys now too :P

Okay ripping a 8x didn't work, Anyway to recover the files I dont know how CD's work, but would it be possible to buff the scratch out? lol. I dont want to have to buy the game again :(

dont know about nero, but roxio has a disc copier in it. nero probably does too, but ive never used it.
you just select which drive to burn from and which to burn to.
 
I just did that in nero, but it burned to the harddrive, and then to the CD, all that it saved me was time it takes to take one CD out and put one in to the tray :/
 
Yes I copied using nero today actualy. It saves in like temporary memory somewhere then copies then wipes it.

Erm try a programme called CloneCD. Unfortunately you do have to pay well think tere is a free trial. Here is the link.

Also a number of other usefull tools like CloneDVD and Virtual CloneDrive. I like them cos they have cool icons :D. Ohh and they are VERY symple to use.

Infact I will download CloneCD now myself :P

Tick the 'On the Fly' option under 'Copy Options'.

Yes, you can buff out the scratches. They sell kits that will do it for you (with varying success). There are also mail-in or local services which will use a higher quality machine to do it, the same sort of thing used by DVD rental stores to repair damaged DVDs.

Sounds like something I need, I bought 2 copies of vice city broke them both (with scratches) so well I couldnt play anymore, then broke my PS2 so it dont matter anyway hehe.
