D dmsee New Member Feb 20, 2005 #1 hey guys i am using hp a400n when i put cd in it starts spinning it and then spins until i remove it nothing happens but cmputer just freezes so i need to hold my power button to restart it whats a problem?? and how to solve it?>?

D dave597 VIP Member Feb 20, 2005 #2 your cd drive is broken - or the autorun software is buggy. try disabling the autorun - hold shift as you insert the cd, and then access the files through explorer. what cd is it specifiically? did you write it yourself?
