It is Samsung CDRW. I am sure the power cable, IDE cable, and jumper setting are correct because I have tried them with another device, and it works properly. However, still my computer cannot detect it - no CD-ROM is installed to this computer. What's wrong?
Yes I always set 'autodetect' in CMOS.
This CDRW used to worked well, and it was autodetection by the system. I have no idea what's happening at this moment
Nope. Even the icon is not available. Even when my computer is booting, on the screen I cannot see it detecting the CDRW though I already plug in both cables. It seems like no power or something
