I found this item offered on EBAY.
==============================
Intel Celeron 2.4 Ghz Processor
· 256MB DDR333 PC 2700 RAM
· 80GB 7200RPM IDE Hard Drive
· 52x32x52x CDRW Drive
============================

I asked the seller

>How can your celeron 400 Mhz processor work with memory 333 Mhz ? Or, I do not understand something...

He answered

> The 400Mhz is internal CPU clock. and ddr333 is the bus speed.

Is it possible? I thought that

processor 400 - memory 266
processor 533 - memory 333
processsor 800 - memory 400

Correct me if I am wrong.

CPU and RAM are two different things.
The celeron runs on a 100MHz Core and 400MHZ effective
Your memory runs on 166Mhz core and 333Mhz effective. The speeds are independent of each other

Than why in my mobo instructions it is written that

processor 400 can work only with memory 266
processor 533 memory 266 or 333
processsor 800 - memory 266/333/400 ?

Are mobos different in this sence?

Lots of mobos have "quirks" ... it doesnt mean you cant run the mobo with the rated speed etc but it just means to get the mem to work you'll have to downclock the cpu.... maybe :p Depends on the mobo
