Centrino battery life?

Hi - I have a microexpress 1.7 (dothan) Centrino laptop with 1 gig ram, 60 gig (5400) hard drive, and ATI 9700 video card. Rather than using the built in wireless, I use a DLink card to connect at 108mbps on my network. I've read how people get anywhere from 4 to 6 hours battery life, but I'm lucky to get a shade more than three hours just browsing the web. It's a 19 volt battery I believe, but don't know how many cells it has. Any thoughts on how people get so much run time out of there batteries? Or do I need to purchase a higher capacity battery? Thanks,

1. When running in battery mode and ultra saver mode you can jack up a crapload more battery life

2. I'm not sure if they are out yet, but the Centrino(2004s) have somewhere in the ballpark of twice the battery life of the Centrino(2003s) so that might be it :)

Mm k. Right click the little battery icon, power settings, minimal battery management / Max Battery. That should get you prolly 4 hours. Even if they don't, they charge super fast, * mines around 1-2% a minute when on *
