CF problem

I dont know if any of you have this problem... i am using XP home, SP2 and all the latest crap with Firefox (even though it doesnt matter what browser i use).
When i go to, say, the Screenshot Contest thread, it will always put me around 6 pages from the end. There arent any edits on that page, and the last post was on the last page. It does that to me for all of the larger threads when i open them the first time. ANy reason for this?

That has to do with the auto email notification after the first response is added after one of your posts. The first response can be followed be several before the email process catches up. I see 3 or 4 pages when seeing only one email. Yet when you go through and delete those seen at first suddenly the others have caught up. That's normal there. If you go right that minute to the thread the number of responses is obviously less.
