WIndows 10 Change Boot Order to USB in Toshiba S855

I am trying to have my Toshiba S855 Satelite to cold boot from my USB.

It used to have a message in the bottom of the screen telling me what to do to enter Setup. But it's not there anymore.

I tried ESC, F2, F8 and F12 respectively and it booted right from the internal SSD drive C:.

One time, by pressing the F2, I got to the BIOS menu and changed the boot order to USB. But when I press F10 to save and exit, it booted to the SSD again.

Is there any trick in this?

Access bios and disable secure boot. You should then have an easier time booting to cd/usb.

Can't really walk you through it as each system is different. Just access bios and look for the secure boot setting and disable it. You also may need to enable legacy boot. You can access the bios correct?

I am able to make it work now.

It seems that a bootable USB must be in the USB port. It was F2 (changed from F12 when I acquired this machine) that calls up the boot manual.

Also, if the machine is operable, you can go into setting to change the UEFI to make change in the BIOS. The change in the BIOS stays with the machine, not the storage drives.
