Change Desktop Icons

Is there a way I can change the icons on my desktop? Like to user created ones?


For example, I want to change my COD4 icon.



Also, is there a website that shows all the different kinds?

right click on the icon, click properties, under the shortcut tab, there should be the Change Icon Button

for icons, i find deviantart to have the best selection of icons. well dock icons but it might be the same for desktop icons too. usually .PNG (for docks) and .ICO (for desktop) files are included in the Zip files you can download.

click Categories > Customization > Icons

I downloaded a set of desktop icons and extracted them but the extracted files are .ita

what do i need to do to convert/be able to use them?

You need the freeware program "Icon Tweaker" from here ... ita extension is an Icon Tweaker theme.
