Changing case on my sony

I was just wondering if anyone knew if it would be possibly to change the case on my sony vaio as long as the case has the same size and same sized monitor just would be a different sony case I dislike the plastics on mine that I have. Its a sony vaio vgn-ns240e i am just wondering if it is possible.

Laptop? No, you can't swap laptop internals. The motherboards and connectors are very specific. The most you could do is find another Sony that uses the same board inside, but this would require a tremendous amount of research since it there isn't any standard out there.

Ah thanks, I thought it was a plug in simple switch guess im stuck with this one. Thanks for the reply.
