Hi we have a problem at work that I really can’t understand and the answers we get from our so called support aren’t really satisfactory.
The thing is that we have a network based OS running as a shell on our computers. A sort of virtual client. (I am not a network technician so bare with me if I don’t use the correct term for everything.) The first problem is simple windows media player doesn’t work in our system. No big deal we have VLC. But here comes the real issue. Our technicians claim that it is impossible to associate video files with VLC because VLC is being run as a virtual client. They can’t explain why it’s impossible only that it is. Can this be true? And if so why is that?
Please help us teachers who have been trying to get answers for half a year.
