changing login screen, cusors etc

hi all
I've been using alienguise for a while now to set my theme. I've been looking though wincustomize and interested in changing my bootscreen, login screen and cursors. Just wondering how to go about doing this i.e what folder you need to install the files in etc. and weather it is safe changing these and can you change back easiler.

New cursors can simply be installed in windows.

And i personally prefer windowsblinds to hardwired theme 'patches' because sometimes the themes cause problems, and with windowsblinds, you can always just turn the theme off.

I wouldn't mess with the bootscreen. I've changed mine before, and it's not worth it. There's lots of potentials for problems, it really doesn't look that good, and honestly, why mess with windows for a 5 second display that you see once a week...
 
ok thanks for that. I won't bother about the bootscreen then. Is it safe to change the login screen. i'd like to change the one on my laptop as i have a few user accounts for when i'm doing presentations or showing someone something i just log onto account which doesn't have much access to anything. which folder do i save the file in?
