Changing my graphics card

What PSU are you currently using, that alone can dictate your initial options?

What motherboard are you using?

do you plan to stick to an AMD card, or wanting to try an nvidia card?

what kinda games do you play?

what kinda budget do you have?

My motherboard is Ga-780T-D3L
8GB RAM
AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-core prozessor 3.60GHz
I would like it to be below 150 euros.
I'll check the power supply in a minute.

Ok, sorry for the wait.
Power Supply: AC input: 200-240V-, 3A, 50-60Hz
DC output: 400W
Not sure if you need more information so feel free to ask.

You're probably in the market for a PSU upgrade as well. Usually there's a label on the side of the PSU if you open up the side of the computer case, but it sounds like a generic one. More often than not those units struggle to meet the bare minimum for standards and regulation at the lowest cost possible.

Ok, do you have a suggestion? As to what PSU I should get?
That all depends on the video card you want really. That image only shows you have the 6700 series. What exact model do you have? With only 150 to play with, thats not gonna work very well, especiwlly when you need a new psu. A decent card alone will run you 175 or more. What games do you play?

All of this is worthless if it won't fit in his case. There were some low-profile HD 6700 series cards so there is a chance this guy has a slim case which a newer GPU won't fit into. Same goes for the power supply too. Even if the case is an mATX or an ATX case and not a slim tower, we still need an idea about how much room is available.

@Ezekiel224 can you tell us what case you have or post a photo of your PC in this thread please?

I've also moved this thread from the CPU section to the Video Cards section.

Not worth it IMO. FX 4100 is a turtle.
Debatable, a 4100 series doesn't have a problem pushing up higher than 6700 series performance. You might get variable behavior depending on the title but there is plenty of room for improvement in his current build on the GPU-only end.
