Changing operating systems

ok, so i have a dell studio xps 1645 running 64 bit vista service pack 1. I want to use XP instead, how do I get rid of vista and use XP instead?
 
Boot to the xp install disk and delete the existing partitions, repartition, format and install windows. You'll have to do some searching for XP drivers though.
 
Why are you going for windows ?? you can try linux.. i m damn sure you wont change it to any other OS once you install linux.. I m enjoying it man :)
