changing out hard disk

My computer (OS Vista) has a hard disk problem , so I was thinking of changing out the hard disk with a new one. I have a Lenovo computer with Intel Core 2 quad processor Q6600 Intel Viiv technology. I would like to install OS Windows 10 on my new hard drive, is that possible and will it work ok with this processor?
 
You'll have to buy windows 10, there is no free upgrade from vista. Should work fine with your system as its new enough to have drivers available.
