Changing System information...

Hi, just wondering if anyone could explain the values of 586MHz and 2.09MHZ in the pictures below. Just got a new laptop and it seems to switch between these two values from time to time. Thanks.

P.S. Apologies for the wallpaper it was on it when I got it I swear, changing it soon... :o

It's ok, we don't mind if you've got that or CareBears. But for the fluctuating numbers- it's just your clock going up and down from time to time when needed. It'll lower the clock a bit to save battery or when idling. Nothing to worry about. :D
 
As mentioned before, it is just a battery saving thing that lowers the freqency when power is not needed so that you can have longer battery life
 
If you want it to be at a constent speed, there should be a program on your laptop that can be set to certain speed intervals.
