Changing the user name on Windows

I recently got a Gateway laptop from Best Buy. It is great. When my dad bought it, I filled out the small amount of paperwork and didn't put a user name on the blank, so they put my dad's name. My dad doesn't use this computer and he bought it for me to use for school, so how do I change the owner's/user's name? Can I? I tried to by putting my name as the administrator's name, but my dad's name keeps coming up. Best Buy said I could change it later. I am running Vista Home Premium. Thanks.

In XP you do it like that:
Right mouse on My Computer > Properties > then: Computer Name tab > and hit Change button > type your name.
I'm not sure about Vista but you can check that...
