Can you upgrade the video card (GPU) on a laptop?
I have a Toshiba S855 series that I think it would benefit from a dedicated GPU with more vRam. To my understanding, I think it is not an option.
True?

Depends on the laptop, the vast majority of the time, no.

There were a few select builds with changeable GPUs but unless it already came with a decent dedicated GPU you're screwed.

If your laptop has Thunderbolt 3... it's possible. But being that your Toshiba's pretty old now, it probably doesn't have it.

I know what your thinking, and its doubtful his laptop has it... The cost of the Core is too much though, cool idea..but expensive and isn't the internal psu kinda junk?
