I'm hoping one of the masterminds here can help me. I'm experiencing repeated problems moving my laptop from my office to my dining room table.
The first time it happened, my motherboard was just fried. I chalked it up to old age and got a new one.
The second and third time, I had my laptop plugged into a power strip in my office, working perfectly. I powered down and moved to the dining room table - and the chargers were just dead, both times. They were both relatively new.
What is causing this? Is my power strip doing something to the chargers? It has a wireless router, a printer and a lamp also plugged to it. What would be killing my chargers in the move from one room to another? I'm baffled.
Thanks so much.
