Hi, just wondering if my phone needs to go to the repair shop, I'm not good enough to attempt hardware repairs, but just going through process of elimation to see if it is the phone, and it's.... odd.
I have a power cube with usb at my bed side, when I plug my phone in, I get an error message on my phone saying "check charger connection", but on rare occasions it works. I've tried a different charger cable, same problem. My wife has the same power cube, yet hers charges fine, so I thought that rules out the power cube. If I put my phone into usb wall outlets and usb plugs in wall outlets, it fast charges. I'm thinking obviously the charging port, but don't know why it works sometimes and not others, any why mine usually works on wall outlets, but not on the power cube.
