so i need a new mobo asap for my pc and i found this one:
Gigabyte AM3 M68MT-D3P GLan/DDR3/µATX
so its an AM3 Sock mobo and its about $50, well its 40 euros ( im dutch )

but i need help to find out if its a reasonable Mobo to use.

thanks people

Where you do you usually get your computer parts from? Because that board won't support your LE 1600 cpu.

no im going to get a new CPU too, i get them from a place close by me. i cant really list the site as its all in dutch (might have guessed then, im dutch)

but im planning ont he AM3 Sock AMD Phenom2 X4 960T @3GHZ

As long as it's a gigabyte ASUS asrock or msi you should be fine, but the first 2 are the best brands. Also it's preferred to get an 800 or 900 series chipsets, if you aren't sing a graphics card then an 800, if you are then go 900 since it doesn't have integrated.

okay cool ill keep that in mind, this is a Gigabyte mobo. i am getting a GPU with it though, maybe a temporary solution the sapphire HD4850 if im right. i can get it for about $40 from a friend if i choose to get that.

HD 4850 is an alright card. ASRock make great value for money boards and they don't skimp on features.

well i might get the ASRock 870 Extreme 3 board, as it has UCC and the CPU id want to get can have 2 extra cores unlocked. but i just found out AMD are stopping the production of the Phenom2 and Athlon2 series and by the time i get enough cash to get all the parts for the build i cant get the 960T

Gigabyte is good all around. I have a gigabyte M68MT-S2P, and I haven't had any issues. Just make sure everything is compatible with it, and you'll be fine.
