Grand TOTAL= $830

PS- My MB burned out yesterday so that another $15 for shipping and another $15 when it fried when I first got it =P so that be another $30

Grand TOTAL = $860

This my GF CPU i built for her... After I got done with it she was "Uhhh $830 I could of gotten a Dell for cheaper..."

She a CSE major and I would of EXSPECTED something more than that... don't you guys think so?

Personally, I think the IDE cables are just a waste and I would of spent that extra $20 on getting a better video card. A used video card probably wouldn't be that bad(a used harddrive is what you need to worry about) but even being used, it's a little dated.

The only used stuff is the GPU... all the other parts i got from Fry's and Newegg =P ONLY buy parts that are on sale...

avoid Thermaltake powersupplies. they make crap units (except for maybe two of them, of which this model is not). have a look at PSU 101.

You'll want some nonstock cooling on that puppy most likely :)
