I am looking for a cheap but decent gaming desktop, I have about $700-1000 usd to spend and I have been looking at a few gaming prebuilt PCs. also I would prefer to get a prebuilt PC just for the fact of me being lazy. I have been looking at PCs with intergrated graphics and I see that ones built with intergrated is cheaper, but I would eventually want to get dedicated so that's another question can I easily upgrade to dedicated from intergrated on a desktop setup also this is the specs im kind of looking for if anyone knows where to get cheap desktops with these min specs this is a setup I have been looking at

Yes you should definitely get the CPU and motherboard as recommended above.

Go to 8GB of RAM to save some money. 2x4 1866MHz RipJaws-X is good stuff: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...5&cm_re=ripjaws-x_1866-_-20-231-455-_-Product

Get a 1TB HDD - Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM, 64MB cache: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...8840&cm_re=seagate_1tb-_-22-148-840-_-Product

Wouldn't bother with the CPU cooler just yet unless you really want to overclock when you build your system. Your CPU will come with a cooler, so save the $55 or so and get a GeForce GTX 760 since the GT 740 is definitely not a suitable gaming card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130932&cm_re=gtx_760-_-14-130-932-_-Product

You can save money on the case by getting the 300R (without a window) for $70: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139011&cm_re=300R-_-11-139-011-_-Product

Who knows, maybe by the time you've made all of those changes you might even be able to go better than a GTX 760 and get something like a Radeon R9 280X or a GTX 770 instead to really boost the game performance: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202046&cm_re=r9_280x-_-14-202-046-_-Product

I'd still prefer to self-build using the parts recommended by John and I above. Better stuff = more satisfaction! :D
