Cheap Gaming PC

My birthday is in June (I like to have lots of time to think and make sure everything it perfect.) I want to build a computer. I just need suggestion. I have monitor, mouse, speakers, keyboard, DVD-drive, and 7600GT Video Card (When are 9 series coming out? I can reuse this card till 9 series comes out, then ill get 8 series cheaper). I need an OS (Vista Home Premium), Wireless PCI adapter card, and everything else in a PC. My Budget: Say $600 including case and OS i picked out. I think i can get a decent machine with that price and everything i dont need. I dont play anything too taxing (Rome: Total War, Flyff, Sims 2,Stronghold 2). I dont need sound card. I dont listen to music or care too much of sound quality. Any onboard is fine.

One more thing. I want the Blue Centurion 5 case. Its the only one that ive found that will work good in my Computer desk, because it will fit and inputs are in front, because i dont have room for them to be on side or top. So heres my list so far:

COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UB Black /Blue Aluminum Bezel , SECC Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail- $49.99

Microsoft Windows Vista 32-Bit Home Premium for System Builders Single Pack DVD - OEM- $109.99

Heres the Video Card I have:
Foxconn FV-N76TM2DT-R3 GeForce 7600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

Some more thoughts. Hard Drive I would like to be aruond 200GB. Give or take depending on budget left over or required. Also, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128059&Tpk=Gigabyte+P35+DS3L looks like a decent Motherboard.

But retail is twice the price. This means the first change is basically the same price either way. And since i don't upgrade my computer that often, I doubt ill be replacing my motherboard twice before I just get a whole new computer. Am i thinking about this wrong? I dont think i'm going to replace my motherboard any itme soon, so i would like to keep prices down, since I have a budget.

Does anyone have any part suggestions? Im still gonna say ill use my 7600GT card, until i know the price drops in the 8 series cards.

get a duo core 45nm you can get the 3ghz retail version and overclock it, too only 220dollars i believe just get a 650i mobo or something, or the 680i is only 140 i think

650i or 680i will not support 45nms. BIOS flash or not. You'll need a P31/P35/X38/780i chipset.

$220 = E8400 Wolfdale.

You didnt read his post. He asked when the 9 series was coming out so he knew when the 8 series would come down in price.

Thanks for the suggestions

PS Gogey i dont need a monitor, I said I had one in my first post, but a jam alot of stuff in a small place, so its easy to miss.

I'd get x64 for the sake of upgrading. That E8400 will last you a long time, and buying another x64 OS/buying the x64 conversion disk from M$... Ain't cheap.

I already have a case picked out. However, if the $15 saved helps with my small budget then i will use it, but im really looking for suggestions in RAM, HD, PSU, stuff like that.
