cheap graphics card for £40?

Im looking for a cheap graphics card for my pc (having trouble with the built in graphics) but dont have a lot to spend, only about £40 (max). So wondered what you recommended. Have seen a number of variations of the radeon 9200 for about £30, but are there any others. I have a packardbell 5050 (year old).

You might find a deal on Ebay. Other than that the 9200 or maybe a GeForce 2/3 could be your options.

Indeed, british pounds. Would a Geforce 4 be ok for the modern games? Not talking hardcore stuff, just something like doom 3...?

Nothing for 40GBP will run doom3 super well but an Nvidia card will do better than an ATI becasue of the OpenGL-ness of doom

If you're uber lucky you can score yourself a GFX5700LE/GFX5500 but dont count on it. A GF4Ti might be considered lucky for that price bracket.
