This PSU on newegg seems like an insanely good deal. It's only $25 after mail-in-rebate. It does seem too good to be true though. My question is, what is your opinion? It will need to support the system I have in my "future" list in my sig (see below this post).

Power Supply Specs:

RAIDMAX RX-530SS <<<LINK

530W

135mm fan

+12V Rails - 2

PCI-E Connectors - 2 x 6Pin

ATI CrossFire Support - Yes

NVIDIA SLI Support - Yes

Modular Cabling Support - Yes

Output: +3.3V@28A,+5V@34A,+12V1@20A,+12V2@17A,

I'd stay away from raidmax, why do you think they give such a deal? cuz nobody wants their crappy units with bad efficiency

Ya id suggest steering in a different direction.

Ive had prior experience with this psu kind of :

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182017

I know a few people who own it and never had any problems and it's real nice and the price is real nice for a product like that.

If I remember correctly it was in the psu guide on here, take a look at that one and consider this one over your previous choice.

With that kind of equiptment, I wouldn't want to have the main power source being a cheapy one. Try and invest some cash into the PSU, it's one of the most important and buying a cheap one could damage your computer.

I used to not realize how important a quality power supply is, I have a $200 750W power supply which should be enough to handle too of my cards in SLI. Even if one can barely get by (like the one you posted), it's just not going to last long if you are going to upgrade.

ya you dont want to go in savings mode. on the psu to important.......think about future upgrades can ity handle what you will be running...?????????
