Ok then, seen as the last one failed I'll try again. I'm looking for a cheap upgrade for my PC (basically Mobo, CPU, RAM and GPU...maybe a PSU aswell) thats not really a great computer but has lots of room for upgrading later. noting the word "cheap" btw just so you don't get too carried away. What do you recommend?

Edit: PCI E preferrably :)

yeh i tried a budget last time and it failed so I wasn't gonna suggest a budget this time and see what you guys come up with...just as cheap as you can without being complete rubbish.

Well you really need to be specific about your budget and what you want. One of the problems in my opinion with this board is that people aren't articulate &
can't be specific, both in asking and answering questions.

The easiest advice I'll give you is that you should go online to find the cheapest
prices of things like RAM, etc., whether through Ebay, or online stores like The Memory Store, etc.

This has been a public service.

intel E2180 £55
Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L £50 (But a P35 chipset is better...)
Corsair 2 x 1GB DDR2 677 £50
Sapphire HD 2600XT 256MB £66 / Inno3D 8600GT 256MB 128bit DDR3 £68 (if you don't have cash, get a MB with G33 chipset at the moment, and buy GPU later)
Antec EarthWatts 500W £51, you may not need 500W at the moment, but allow some room if you want to upgrade.
Price from ebuyer

anyone know if this:

Intel E2140 Pentium Dual Core Socket 775 2x1.60GHz 1MB Cache 800FSB Retail Boxed Processor

will fit in this? :

Gigabyte GA-P31-S3L Intel P31 Express Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard

I'm not sure?

Definitely will fit. That mobo will be easily upgradeable too. Quad support...

As in if it will fit in your case... we need your case specs.

He was asking for a budget of £100 last time...

So I should memorize everyone's location?
