cheap vid card for good performance

OK i plan on buying a system from ibuypower in late september or early october and im not sure what vid card to get. The games i want to play are Diablo 2: lod, COD2, civiliaztion 3, halo 1, and guild wars: factions. Im trying to keep this very cheap, less than 700 without a monitor. These are the cards im deciding between i want to play all of the games on medium settings with no lag. what would be the cheapest card out of these three i could get to do that.

ATI Radeon x700

Geforce 6600 256mb

Geforce 7300gt 512mb

The Geforce 6600 is a nice price for performance. You can play most modern games with that.

Or you can get a 6200 wich is enough to play your current games, then gather up for a nice 7600GT:D .
 
i would go for a radeon x1800xt if i were you but if its out of your price range (check newegg.com) all i can say is i wouldn't go for an x700
 
isay get the 6600 gt i play all those games u mentioned max cod2 is customized at max and mid settigns on some things and i get sa smooth 20 frames persecond could be higher if i put all on medeum but it just looks to sexy

a 7600GS should beat the 6600gt, seeing its an overall newer and better card, and it costs about the same amount too.
 
If your budget is almost $700 for a system designed at least partially for gaming, I would consider a 7600GS to be an absolute minimum. It will outperform a 6600GT easily. A 7600GT would be a better choice, and should still allow for balanced performance in other areas.

Don't be fooled by the 512MB on the 7300GT, it won't perform any better than a 256MB version.
