Cheap Windows XP?

Hey everybody.
I was just wondering where I could get Windows XP Pro SP2 for cheap. If I put Windows 2000 on my comp., and then bought the XP upgrade disc, would that work? Cuz can't you put 2000 on more than one comp.?

you can get the "oem version" of microsoft win xp for $100 USD, but that is home edition. prob pro is a bit more. Is that "cheap" for you?
 
WOW. Thats way cheap man. The only problem is...How reliable is the source, and does it have SP2? I could prob. get SP2 anyway, but it would be nice. That's a good deal! Thanks a lot Johnny Boy.

MS will sent you SP2 on a CD shipped to your house for free, also you could always download it, i got it from the CD for when i go and fix people comptuers its an easy install.

you dont need someone who works at IBM to make copies. the dvd burner at the high school my friend works at will copy anything no questions asked.
 
speaking of which...there isnt anyone who has an xp disc lying around that they could sell/give me...i've got a serial n. i just need the f'in disc to reinstall...because windows is stupid and doesnt like it when you replace your mobo...

sorry if that seems like a dumb thing to ask..so..if no one it's alright. i can deal. i hate annoying noobs like myself too.
