cheap windows?

i need to get a new windows disk.. one that can boot and load on my new comp.. only got upgrade disks and its not helpin.. ne1 kno of somewhere to get a cheap windows? or any other alternatives?
 
Pick up a oem copy of what ever windows you want and it will work fine. But remember oem disks are attached to you mobo so if you need to change your mobo you will need to ring Microsoft to activate your windows.

Yup, just oem as meanman said, are tied to your mobo and it wont be as easy to activate(need to call m$) if you change out mobo. Last time i had to do it it was at like 3 in the morning washington time, so i got an automated machine= easy:cool:
