Im just curious of what is the cheapest PC one can make with reliable parts. My mom was thinking on getting a PC, so im just seeing how much it will cost, and since this will be for online shopping and E-mail, it can be really cheap.

Things I dont need:
Keyboard
Mouse
Cd-drive
Hard Drive
OS (ubuntu is free)

Things I need (other than normal parts of a PC):
PCI wireless internet card
Monitor

All other required parts are needed. I guess i dont really need to give ya'll a budget since I want cheap as possible (but still reliable).

Thanks

wouldnt it be better not to have a prebiult system seeing as he already has alot of the parts?

ill give this a proper reply a bit later. im currently using my computer on a projector and its hard to use unless im gaming or watching movies :)

seeing as this is a cheapest possible system. it would be much better to use the parts he already has.

Well, the build in my sig cost me $211 without a hard drive, rom drive, and a case. And it hasn't let me down yet.

Good build, although I wouldn't trust that case PSU. Spend a bit less on the LCD and get a quality PSU (if possible)...

the specs of the power supply are negligible to this build, its unlikely to use over 150 watts under load lmao
