Cheapest way to set up dual monitor

hey im not that good with video cards(i dont play that many games) and i was woundering what was the cheapest possible way to set up a dual monitor display, and i kno nothin about the dual monitors, rite now i dont have a pci or agp video card , mines intergrated ( i kno its gay) and the type is in the sig, so if you have to have a video card please recommend the cheapest one that would work, and if possible a good one that would also work cause i might just save up and buy a good one... thanks

the best way to go cheap on dual monitors is to get a pci card from any computer hardware store or a walmart special. Make sure it is a PCI card. Interaged vidio and agp don't like to work together. PCI is also the cheapest. The second monitor can be a used one and it don't need to be anyting special. My second monitor i put in my computer was a walmart special. Paid a hole 44 dollors for it and the monitor i got at an auction for 50 cents. When you by a new main card you can use it in the agp slot.

Qoute :When you by a new main card you can use it in the agp slot.

you mean a new mobo that doesnt have the intergrated graphics?
also, does the pci video card have to have any special hook ups on the back?
and i already have 2 monitors, thats not a problem, and also i need to kno all the software it takes and how to hook it up, thanks alot:)

I have VGA splitters for $2. It simply takes your moniter port thingy and splits it into 2. that is by far the cheapest way to do it.

no you donit need a new motherboard. i run dual moniors and my motherboard has intergrated graphics. i just don't use it. pci cards do not have any spicail hook ups. No software is required other than the card drivers. and you hook it up the same way you do any monitor.

ok, i finally got it working , i got a cheap card for 30 bucks and it works but the card sucks, so im going to return it, it takes a while for everything to load up and the sceen flickers, i think im just going to get a good card after im done updating my system to the +3000, cause ill need a card with that board anyways
