everytime i reboot my computer either on a restart or even just powering up initially the disk check runs, never finds any errors or anything. I am powering down correctly, start, turn off computer. this all started when i got an ati2dvag error anda vpu recovery error message. After numerouss attempt to fix the drivers i have finally been successful but still getting check disk. computer is running fine, device manager isn;t showing any yellow questions. What can this be... warranty runs out in 1 weeks.

80gbHD, 512RAM, winxp sp2, radeon 9250,

If it runs disk check all the time it is possible that part of the hard drive is corrupt, or the exe for the disk run is some how misfunctioning not to sure how to solve this tho.

That used to happen to me but after I let it go all the way through the disk check routine w/o turning it off or anything, it finally stopped. Have you let it complete the entire process?

Basicly if you get error msgs. Oh yeah and make sure you run some anti virus, and spyware, also disk cleanup, clear temporary internet files, and delete cookies, also try defragmenting, and get back with results.
