Not that I'm helpful in this situation, but you want this in the security section, not operating systems.
 
Well, its not a security issue, since TTDSkiller and malwarebytes showed nothing. I guess software might have better forum.
 
I don't see any issues that stand out. Is it slow all the time, or just booting up or what? Does he remember anything happening about the time the slowness started? Any new software or hardware installed? Try disabling the virtual clone drive from running at bootup and see what happens.

He says its off and on, and started since he got citrix cloud thing for his college work. He said it has gotten better, too. And just booting up, it shows its using about 2GB of RAM, just sitting there.
 
You'll need to update java to the latest version. Disable programs from starting at bootup and see if anything changes. Seems something is causing it at bootup.
