Actually, I'm thinking of switching over to PC gaming. I'm actually a console gamer. Not sure if I'm going to buy the new Xbox One or build myself a gaming PC.

Here's what was recommended for me for my $800 budget. (I actually changed it up a smidgen).

Windows 8

Comes to $774 without the Windows 8 operating system (A little above my budget but I NEED ultra graphics or I might as well buy an Xbox One, right)? Okay, I'm not all about graphics, but I do want better graphics than the One.

Do you all think this looks good? I believe it should play the newest games on Ultra High graphics without any hitches in frame rate. If I'm wrong, let me know.

Also, I've heard some things about inappropriate power supply for PCs either being too high or too low. Is the power supply I chose good, or is it possible I might run into some problems?

I'm not very tech savvy and I hardly know what I'm doing. I do know that Intel is better than AMD, but AMD is way cheaper. Besides, GameDebate.com says the processor and video card I've chosen will run the latest games i.e. Call of Duty Ghosts, Titanfall, Battlefield 4, etc will run on RECOMMENDED settings. I checked youtube, and people are running these games on Ultra High settings with recommended harware, so...

Anyways, if you have any advice or suggestions, please let me know.

Spend a little more on a board. If your getting a 8 core, a board with a 8+2 power phase will run cooler.

So what areas do you guys think I could spend a little less money without hurting the performance of my build?

Really, I can't spend any more than $850, that's all I've got for a rig, and that's including the cost of an OS.

Like said in your other thread. Just drop the SSD and get a better video card and still save some.
